Awana at Mableton First Baptist

The Awana Award Ceremony was on May 18 this year.

All three awards for this week were from the Truth & Training age group.

We start Awana with a few minutes of games as the boys and girls arrive. This game trio has built a very tall marble track.

In the summertime pattern, we start awards and program time combined with snacks with the group sitting on the floor.

Awards for the Sparks levels are attached to the red vests.

Awards for the older T&T groups are attached to their green shirts.

Then comes the story and teaching time.

When leaving the church this evening we got the treat of sunset beams around the church steeple.

The red vest for Sparks is given after the learning and saying of John 3:16. Then other awards are attached to it.

Ms. Becky provides regular counting puzzles, and here gives a prize to one of our champion counters.

Part of summer Awana has been dividing into Bible groups, each with a question to answer from the Bible.
