Trip to Lee's Inn, Highland, NC with Welcome Class

This is Lee's Inn, the destination for our Welcome Class weekend retreat.

On Sunday morning, July 29, we had our morning Bible study out on the spacious porch. Rod leads the Bible study in a setting quite different from the normal class location.

I was prompted to scan and post these pictures of Lee's Inn by an email inquiring about whether I had any pictures of the Inn since I had named it in the previous pictures of members of our group. Unfortunately, the Inn burned in the early 80's, not that long after our visit there. Not many pictures exist of this fine, beautiful structure.
