Atlanta Skyline on Morning Drive

January 17. 1992

One of the advantages of driving to Atlanta before daylight in January is that you get to see some nice sunrises.

Rod drives 15 miles to Georgia State and Brenda about 17 to the Hospital. Not too exciting to follow a long line of taillights, but this morning was beautiful enough to make it spectacular.

Once I got close to the city, I could see more of the skyline over the red taillights.

Passing east of the Georgia State Capitol, I could see its gold dome shining in the morning sun. Below is the view of the skyline from the bridge over Parkway Drive near Georgia Baptist Hospital.
