Bent Tree Trip

We had a pleasant trip to the Bent Tree house on Friday morning. The leaf-covered mountainside west of the house showed no buds or flowers yet.

The wild turkeys came walking up the driveway to visit us.

By early afternoon the weather moved in and we were immersed in cloud at this height on the mountain. We had hard rain and wind, and it was a neat night to sleep up on the mountain. Mark called in the morning to make sure we were alright because a severe windstorm had blown across his shop just south of downtown Atlanta. Then we learned that a tornado had hit the downtown area.
