Radio Road construction: front porch and wall framing

The construction of the steel frame for the front porch roof continues with Jeff and Brandon Moore working together to form it from the sections of the big steel antennas.

Jeff had built concrete foot pieces for the four supports and they began the steel fabrication.

The wall framing is well underway. The view below left looks down the hall toward the large room, with the kitchen location on the left and the three girls' bedrooms on the right. Below right looks down the hall to Jeff & Darla's area with the area for Rod and Brenda on the left and the laundry area on the right.

Below left is a diagonal look through the room planned for Rod and Brenda. This room was the kitchen in the original building. A door was cut through the wall into what was the Women's bathroom in the original building. Below right is the view through that door where the new bathroom will be placed, and the wall directly ahead will be the wall of the closet.

At far left is the rough-in plumbing for the bathroom, and near left is the end of the closet space. The doorway will be removed, having been the door to the original bathroom.
