Next step of front porch framing at Radio Road

The next step on the front porch steel structure required a lift to get to the peak of the roof. Jeff prepares to anchor the peak of the roof.

Jeff had built concrete foot pieces for the four supports and they began the steel fabrication. They had then gotten the four vertical supports placed and welded to the horizontal beam.

Jeff cuts a hole in the vent structure to provide a path to attachment of the peak structure.

Now Brandon trims the piece of steel antenna material to fit in the structure.

With a shower of sparks, Brandon makes a grinder cut of the steel antenna stock to prepare to weld the frame together.
