Morpho peliades "blue morpho"

Diego is holding a blue morpho that has yet to take its first flight, having just emerged from the crysalis minutes before. Its wings are not yet fully dry and its color is particularly brilliant.

The blue morpho was not emphasized while we were at the Butterfly Farm because I had gotten lots of pictures of blue morphos at the Butterfly Botanical Gardens near Si Como No resort.
