Our lunch was barbecue sandwich sack lunches from Wallace Barbecue.

We had a relaxed lunch period around the tables and then an inspirational message from Dr. Marcus Merritt shown at right.

Marcus Merritt's father, John Edward Merritt, was a graduate in the 1959 class of South Cobb High. This photo at right is from the High School Annual of that year.

Dr Merritt is Assistant Professor of Pastoral Ministry; Doctor of Ministry Program Coordinator; Director of Church Relations at Luther Rice College and Seminary.
