Concreting the Trenches to Level the Floor

After the trenching and installation of the bathroom plumbing lines for the three bedrooms for Elyse, Jordan and Ashleigh, the next step was the concreting of those trenches plus the shallow electrical trenches of the original building.

Starting at the back door, this shows the fresh concrete from the filling of the original electrical trenches in the floor of the original building. Jeff had cleaned them and added caulk where there were gaps at the wall so that a smooth floor could be produced.

This shows the leveling of the trenches in the back bedroom, which I believe will be Elyse's bedroom. Note the filling of cracks and some gaps at the side walls, areas that Jeff had prepared.

In progress is the leveling of all the trenches across the large room. The wider trench is the new one to contain the plumbing from the three bathrooms associated with the bedrooms. They drain below the side door to the large room.
