On January 14-15, Rod, Johnny Huffman and Mark Bryant took six of the younger RAs to Bent Tree for an overnight. It was a clear, cold night and we hiked them out on the road about 10:30 PM to look at the stars. We used binoculars to look at the stars to try to see more of their color. I had never seen the Pliades so clearly and Orion was dramatically placed. We hiked them up to the ice falls on Saturday, and they really enjoyed all the icicles. We saw five deer. Good trip for boys and adults. Boys going were Matthew Bryant, Jason Anderson, Alex Ayres,
