1988

This was the year of Mark's graduation from Pebblebrook High School. He made plans to attend Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland, Georgia in the fall. He had an offer of a soccer scholarship, but had some knee problems which led him to decide not to play.

After his high school graduation, Mark and Rod made a trip to the Cayman Islands to scuba dive. Staying on Cayman Brac for a week, they had fantastic diving off Cayman Brac and even better off Little Cayman where you reach the wall at 40ft depth and can peer off into the fantastic 5000 ft depths.

Brenda received the Edna Earle Teal Award and was honored at the graduation ceremony of the Georgia Baptist Hospital School of Nursing.

Mark entered Truett-McConnell in the fall and had knee surgery late in the fall.
