The iris blooms were nice in the middle flower garden in the front yard. April 6.

| We were blessed by a visit with Ellen and Clayton Teague on April 20. They were in Georgia for a visit with their family in west Georgia. We have been friends since about 1960 and greatly enjoyed having dinner with them.We have enjoyed seeing them at Tech gatherings. |

Rod is very keen on feeding the birds in the yard and has successfully squirrel-proofed the feeders in the yard. But the feeders attached to the windows at the end of our den and breakfast room are an entirely different problem, and the squirrels have mostly won there. Hot pepper was tried there, but squirrels quickly adjust to pepper. May 22
