We started the new year with snow on January 8.

We enjoyed brunch at the Durity's with the Sunday School class on Saturday, Jan 9.

Honoring the memory of Dr. A. H. Letton on January 13.

We made a trip to Bent Tree on Jan 15 and got a good view of the ice falls. The Awana boys came up for an overnight at the house.

On February 6 we celebrated the 75th birthday of Aunt Dorothy Watts with family and church friends.

We got another nice snow on February 12 and enjoyed playing in it.

We had our first Awana Racer Derby since starting the Awana program. February 17.

The Sisters in Christ event packed out Mableton First Baptist on February 20.

We had a memorable deacon ordination and fellowship on Februrary 21.

Awana boys made a quick trip to Bent Tree on March 6 to see the snow.

We enjoyed combined children's choirs for Kindergarten Sunday, March 7.

We left on March 10 for a trip down to Pearl River on Rod's spring break.

On the weekend of April 10 we had a large gathering of the Georgia Tech BSU group at Hiawassee.

Awana boys to Bent Tree for an overnight April 30-May 1

We enjoyed a concert by the Georgia Festival Chorus, led by Frank Boggs, on May 2.

On May 8 we headed for Arkansas, making a stop at Holly Springs, Mississippi. We stayed with Suzanne and Bobby and enjoyed a family visit including Dorothy, Wanda, Philippe & Mary Sue.

We attracted a bluebird pair to our backyard this year.

We attended a reunion of Boy Scout Troop 531 on Saturday, May 22.

On May 28 we left for Pearl River, LA for a Memorial Day weekend visit. We enjoyed a swamp visit with Elyse, visiting Northshore Church with the family, a cookout at Jeff and Leslie's, a New Orleans, a swamp exploration with Jordan, and a visit to a farm for the girls' horseback riding lesson.

We had breakfast and an Awana boys trip to Bent Tree on June 5.

The week of June 6 found us in Vacation Bible School at Mableton First Baptist.

An overnight stay at Atlanta Medical Center for Brenda on June 15 was not welcome, but we enjoyed the Atlanta skyline view.

Rod made an overnight trip to Bent Tree with the Lopez and Suarez families on July 2-3.

We had the fourth annual picnic for the congregation of Iglesia de Mableton on July 10.

We had a big "Love Loud" event at MFBC to provide backpacks and school supplies along with health screening for the community on July 18.

Jeff shared a few photos from the Moyle family trip to Bethany Beach, Delaware in mid July.

On July 21 we headed toward Williamsburg, VA with a plan to meet Jeff and family there. On July 24 we toured Colonial Williamsburg and returned the next day for the Declaration of Independence reenactment. On July 26 we all went to Washington, DC for the day.

We did an Awana boys trip on August 7 to Bent Tree.

We were blessed by an orange Gulf Fritillary butterfly around the lantana bush in August.

We enjoyed a Sunday School luncheon at our house on August 22.

Celebrated baptism on Sunday morning and musical "Unstoppable" in evening of August 29.

September 9 brings a trip to Pearl River to celebrate Grandparents Day.

Jeff and Darla and the girls have lots of fall activities, including soccer for all three girls.

On October 2 Rod took the Awana boys up Stone Mountain.

November 12-13 was our fall Awana boys overnight to Bent Tree.

On November 17 Cory Sargent attended a Thrasher's game as a special gift.

Jeff and family arrived on November 20 for a Thanksgiving visit.

On December 5 we had a luncheon at the White's as a Sunday School Christmas Social.

On December 5 we celebrated Church Street Christmas and enjoyed the children's choirs.

On December 6 we had our RTB Christmas Party .

We celebrated the wedding of Matt Thompson and Jan Pursley at the McLarity House in Temple on December 11.

On December 12 we presented our Christmas musical program "Glory in the Highest".

A remembrance of longtime colleague Bill Nelson.

On December 17 we headed out for Pearl River to visit with Jeff and family. On Dec 23 we went to New Orleans City Park for a family outing. We enjoyed Christmas day at Jeff and Darla's and at the Moyles. On Sunday, December 26, we celebrated Elyse's birthday.
